About Dave Costa

Founder of Best Deal Mexico | Top Real Estate Agent in the Riviera Maya

Dave is one of the top real estate agents in the Riviera Maya, known for his problem-solving mindset, ability to fix complex situations, and skill in closing deals others can’t. As the founder of Best Deal Mexico, he leads a team of experienced agents who work collectively to provide clients with the best opportunities and professional representation in the region. 

Dave’s passion for helping people and love for Mexico make him a trusted advisor for buyers, sellers, and investors looking to navigate the region’s real estate market. His journey began with a love for travel, culture, and the Spanish language, which took root when he lived in Sevilla, Spain, during his junior year in college. He later honed his language skills working in AT&T’s Hispanic Call Center, where provided excellent customer service to Spanish speaking customers over the phone, 40 hours a week for over five years. 

With a background in mortgage finance, customer service, and education, Dave developed a unique skill set that has been instrumental in his real estate success. He spent five years in the mortgage industry, followed by another five years as a bilingual teacher, before deciding to escape the rat race and make Playa del Carmen his home. 

Since starting in real estate in 2015, Dave has consistently been a top-performing agent, leveraging his financial expertise and communication skills to protect his clients’ interests and secure the best deals.  After gaining experience with some of the most successful firms in the Riviera Maya, he took the next step in his career and launched Best Deal Mexico.

George Lomelin has called the Riviera Maya home for the past 16 years, embracing the vibrant lifestyle and natural beauty of the region. Born and raised in Torreón, Coahuila, George enjoyed a fulfilling childhood in northern Mexico. He pursued a career in law, earning his degree and practicing Corporate and Family Law for a decade. However, in 2008, George made a bold decision to leave his law firm behind in search of new adventures, relocating to Tulum to begin a fresh chapter.  

Since settling in the Riviera Maya, George has immersed himself in the region’s stunning turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and the captivating energy of Tulum—a place he describes as perfect for living and investing. Proudly declaring, “I live where others vacation,” George has found his paradise in this unique destination.  

In 2016, George transitioned into the real estate industry, where he has discovered a passion for building meaningful relationships with his clients. He takes pride in helping them achieve their dreams of owning property in this tropical haven, guiding them through the process of finding their ideal home while sharing his insights on living like a local. Jun’s journey to the Riviera Maya is a story of passion, creativity, and a commitment to helping others find their dream homes. Originally from central Mexico, she earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture and spent a decade working with top construction and design firms on residential and industrial projects across northern and central Mexico. Her career then took her to Brazil, where she honed her expertise in materials and design, gaining a global perspective on architecture.

Jun speaks fluent Spanish, English, Portuguese, and intermediate level French, which allows her to  connect well with people from various backgrounds.   Since she has family in Dallas, Texas, she has spent extensive time in the USA, which helped her master the language and learn more about the culture.   In 2016, she made the life-changing decision to settle in the Riviera Maya, drawn by its vibrant culture and opportunities for a more fulfilling lifestyle.

In Playa del Carmen, Jun found the perfect place to merge her architectural background with her passion for interior design. With her deep understanding of spaces and her dedication to her clients, she specializes in guiding individuals and families to homes that truly reflect their dreams and aspirations.
